What’s Involved?
When you entrust your watch to Spring and Barrel, its journey begins with an in-depth inspection and photo documentation by a certified watchmaker. Bring your watch to our shop in Seattle, or we can provide an insured label for overnight shipping.
We provide two tiers of documentation:
1) A standard appraisal for insurance documentation, estate inventory, donation receipt, or probate requirements.
2) An in-depth appraisal with historical context. Ideal for insuring rare pieces, valuing heirlooms for family records, or in preparation for sale.
Professional appraisal and condition reports begin at $275 plus insured shipping.
Should service or restoration be necessary, we will provide a referral to a qualified restoration expert.
